The Ceremonial of the Royal Court of Valencia

Abstract

Documentary analysis of the copy kept in the record collection of the Intendancy of Galicia, held in the Archive of the Kingdom of Galicia, of an R.O., dated November 25, 1741, this original kept in turn in the Secretariat of the Captaincy of Valencia and Murcia, and Archive of the Royal Audience, providing for the ceremony that the Regent and other personnel of the Royal Audience of Valencia must observe for captain general-governor, as the highest authority in the Kingdom, when traveling on foot or by horse-drawn carriage, within the same Audience itself, within the Royal Palace, or in the city, and whoever, from that same staff, must accompany him on said trips. Also on the furniture and symbolic elements to be used in the Audiencia.
